A Russian stop-motion adaptation of The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish.

An adaptation of the fairy tale by Alexander Pushkin.

Set in Brazil, this drama is based on a short story by Oscar Wilde about a fisherman who meets and falls in love with a mermaid, giving up his soul in the process.

Adaptation of Pushkin's fairy tales. The tale is about a fisherman who manages to catch a Golden Fish which promises to fulfill any wish of his in exchange for its freedom. The storyline is similar to the Russian fairy tale "The Greedy Old Wife" and the Brothers Grimm's tale "The Fisherman and His Wife".

A small white fish enters the frame and is eaten by a larger one, then the latter is in turn eaten by an even larger fish... At the end, only a huge white fish remains which seems to shrink in size. swimming towards the bottom of the screen. He leaves the frame and the cycle resumes.

When a poor Fisherman discovers a magic flounder in the sea, he goes home to tell his wife. But, as his wife's greed for the better life comes to the point where she wants to take over the world, the fisherman soon realizes that his wife's greed will get the best of them yet.
